Ilorin mourns the death of Etsu Ibrahim Chatta of Patigi
The Etsu of Patigi Local Government Area(LGA), Alhaji Ibrahim Chatta Umar died around the late hours of Tuesday after a short illness.
He died in Abuja and was buried in the Patigi palace on Wednesday 20th, March 2019 at 2pm.
The Senate President of Nigeria Bukola Saraki has expressed sadness and condolences over his death, he described him as a man of peace. Here is what he stated in his Twitter account:
"Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Umar Chatta Ibrahim, was always a man of peace. My prayers are with his family, his subjects and all the people of Kwara State at this time. May Almighty Allah grant the soul of the departed Royal Father a place amongst the righteous ones in Aljannah Firdaus."

The governor elect of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has also expressed deep sadness over his death, stating that his death is shocking. Here is what he stated on his official Twitter account:
"I commiserate with the immediate family and people of Pategi on the sad loss of the Etsu of Pategi, Alhaji Ibrahim Chatta Umar. He was a good leader that was uncompromising about the peace and development of his community. May Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
