Argentina's Government agreed to offer $4.8million for information leading to the submarine's recovery, a judge investigating the disappearance said that the submarine, which was built in German seaport in 1983 before the last update in 2013, had "many flaws"
According to reports, the crew had been ordered to return to a naval base at Mar del Plata on the country's east coast after reporting that water had stormed the submarine's vessel through its snorkel. The San Juan was 430 kilometers off Argentina's Patagonian coast when it lost signal.
