CNN on Teusday filed a lawsuit against President Trump and several Top White House Aids for barring Jim Acosta seeking to reinstate Jim Acosta's Press Credentials.

The Trump Administration has violated Jim Acosta's Press Freedom, Freedom of the press in the United States is legally protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. This amendment is generally understood to prevent the government from interfering with the distribution of information and opinions.
Nevertheless, freedom of the press In the United States is subject to certain restrictions, such as defamation law, a lack of protection for whistleblowers, barriers to information access and constraints caused by public hostility to journalists.

During Trump Controversial Conference last week, where Acosta refused to give up the microphone after President Trump said he does not want to hear anything from him again. Donald Trump has however been categorizing CNN and its Reporters into what he described as "Fake News".

"Mr. Acosta's press credentials must be restored so that all members of the press know they will remain free to ask tough questions, challenge government officials and report the business of the nation to the American people," said Theodore Olson, former U.S. solicitor general and one of CNN's lawyers on the case.
