75 School Students and their Principal have been Reportedly Abducted in Cameroon

Gunmen have kidnapped at least 78 students and their Principal from a Presbyterian college in nkwen village in Cameroon, a governor has stated.

The kidnapping took place near bamenda, the capital of the afflicted english-speaking place, according to governor Deben Tchoffo.

a video purportedly of the abducted youngsters has been release on social media via men who call themselves amba boys, a connection with the kingdom of ambazonia where armed separatists are seeking to establish in cameroon’s northwest and southwest areas.

The men who identify themselves as the kidnappers said they may most effective launch the youngsters once they obtain what they want.

"We will only release you after the war. you'll be going to highschool now right here," say the guys.

Whilst the video could not be independently demonstrated, mother and father were reacting on social media saying they comprehend their children within the video.

Masses have been killed in cameroon’s english-talking areas in the past 12 months, in which violence between armed separatists and the navy have accelerated - seeing that a central authority crackdown in opposition to protesters in the northwest and southwest areas - who declare that as the english-talking minority they may be marginalised via the french-speaking government.

violent separatists took up hands to destabilise the anglophone areas to win independence for the areas they need to claim a separate state, which they call Ambazonia.
