Muslim-American Communities Raise Funds for Pittsburgh's Shootout Victims


After days of Pittsburgh's mass shooting, the Muslim-American community have rose up to help and financially donate to the victims of the Pittsburgh's shooting.

Launch Good, a Muslim Crowfunding site which has donated about $25,000 just within six hours and still counting. Another Crowfunding site was founded by two Muslim groups, Celebrate and MPower Change, so as to help donate to the victims of the Pittsburgh's shooting. The crowfunding site has however raised up to $40,000.

Robert Bowers, the shooter has been arrested by the police, he has however been charged with 29 counts charges offences.

According to reports, the 11 people killed in the
Synagogue includes two married couples,
Bernice and Sylvan Simon, and two brothers, Cecil and David Rosenthal. David Rosenthal was the youngest at 54. The eldest was 97-year-old Rose Mallinger. The dead also included Joyce Fienberg, Richard Gottfried, Jerry Rabinowitz, Daniel Stein, Melvin Wax, and Irving Younger.

Meanwhile, other fundraising campaign has been started by an Iranian based citizen living in Washington D.C, United States of America.
