Sierra Leone's Government has sold its 709 Karate gem Dubbed The Piece Diamond

      A 709 karate gem dubbed the piece diamond was found last year in Sierra Leone by a pastor who surrendered it to the          government and was later put on an auction and sold for $6,500,000 with a promise that a chunck of the money will go towards developing the area the gem was found.
      The Community was brought to world attention last year after the discovery of one of the largest ever found diamond in the world. But like all other diamonds, it took a lot of effort to find, after the discovery of the diamond, the founders took it to the country's then president to achieve the best dividends possible after a local auction had failed to impressimpress, the State decided to to take the diamond to New York where it was sold for $6,500,000, so much controversiallly half a million less than what have offered during a local auction. The Pastor pocketpocketed a cool $2,000,000 for his efforts and part of the state's share was meant to fund the development of the community.
