President Obama Visits Kenya

Former U.S President, Barrack Obama payed a post presidency visit to his father homeland Nyang'Oma Kogelo, Kenya. The praise Obama received in his father's native in Kenya ins in a league of its  own.

On Sunday and Monday, Obama was in Kenya for his first visit since leaving office. He was welcomed warmly by the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyata an Kenyan main opposition leader Raila Odinga who have previously participated in a hard fought election earlier this year and has made peace with President Kenyata lately.

At his second stop, Nyang'Oma Kogelo, a small hilltop village right on the equator where his father grew up, seems like the former prsident never forgot his roots."it is a joy to be here with family" he told an invitation only crowd attending  the launch of a vocational center that will be run by his half sister Dr. Auma Obama's non profit group.
